Soul Outreach shares love with little patients
The outreach programme brought joy to the children at the hospital.
Soul Outreach Community Upliftment put a smile on children’s faces at the Far East Rand Hospital (FERH) on June 2.
The outreach programme collected 300 teddy bears to uplift children at various hospitals but only received permission to hand them out at FERH.
As a result, the children were spoilt for choice, and Soul Outreach will do the same next month.
Martina Stickling, the organisation’s CEO and founder, said, “It was breathtaking to experience this joy.”

Soul Outreach’s project is a Build Your Own Burger Day that they hold for 30 children on July 8.
Another future project is the hiking challenge at the Garden of Eden in Heidelberg. They will host 10 boys and 10 girls aged between eight and 12 on August 5.
Stickling thanked every donor and person who helped to raise the 300 teddy bears and said: ”You are greatly appreciated.”
She also thanked volunteers Zayden Potgieter, Michelle and Erika Stickling and Elize Botha, who did the hand-out at the hospital.
