Here’s what to do in Springs

Here is a look at what is going on in Springs.

• July 29
NGK Presidentsoord is hosting a winter market. The market will run from 09:00 to 13:00. Bring your friends and family for a morning of delicious foods and various stalls to choose from. The market will be held at 3 Strakosch Circle, Petersfield. Stalls can be booked at the church office at 011 811 6148.

• August 5
Be 100 is hosting an opera recital at the Springs theatre. Northwest University graduate, Sibusiso Simelane, will be debuting his performance. To book, visit www.quiket.com. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
These are the events that take place every week.

• Meat World Springs hosts a food market every Saturday from 06:30 to 14:00. With this, Meat World Springs is calling on all vendors to apply to participate. Send your name, ID number and the name and a photograph of the food product you wish to sell for consideration to marketing@meatworld.co.za or call 011 815 1494.

• The Springs Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday. Buy fresh, affordable produce, arts and crafts, delicious food and milk. The venue is Den Akker at President’s Park and it runs from 07:00 to 13:00.
