Springs Old Boys soccer defeated on home ground
Parents and coaches were vocal on the sidelines, encouraging the young soccer stars to push harder for victory.
Springs Old Boys (SOB) hosted Eastern League soccer matches over the weekend at its home ground at Veritas College sports field.
The U15 league two and four teams hit the ground running in the league matches, but the past weekend took a turn when both teams were defeated by their opponents.
The second league team played against TFI, who proved to be strong for SOB and beat them 7-2.
At the same time, the league four team lost to Bonaero Park by 4-2.
