Epilepsy Geduld receives donation

Epilepsy Geduld Centre welcomed the generous donations as they came at a much-needed time for the organisation.

The Epilepsy Geduld Centre received a generous bounty of oranges from Lapua Security Task and CTI Logistics recently.

Jakes Muller and Flint Datadin from both companies delivered 15 boxes to the branch.

Lindiwe Dube, the centre’s PRO, said the donations came at a time when the organisation could not afford to buy fruit for its residents.

“Our residents will now have the much-needed nutrients from that intake of oranges, which are essential for their growth, development, and repair of body tissues,” said Dube.

Dube added that the generous contribution goes a long way in helping Epilepsy SA reach its goals to enhance and improve the quality of life for everyone.

“As the wise would say, when spider webs unite, they can tie up a lion, so no amount of charitable giving is too big or small. For that we are grateful,” she said.
