Dr WK du Plessis School honours Eisteddfod participants
The prestige day was held to award the overall cultural achievements of the learners.
Learners from Dr WK du Plessis School made their peers and loved ones proud during recent eisteddfods.
Thirty-two learners from various grades participated in different eisteddfods, where they competed with other schools in the spotlight, talenté and perservaria divisions.
The learners participated in English and Afrikaans for poetry (prescribed and own choice), public speaking, art (painting and drawing) and creative writing (short stories and poems).
The school held a prestige day where the learners received culture awards for their overall achievements.
The event was for the juniors and seniors.
