Môrester children treated to a Christmas party

The festive season got off to a fun start for the learners.

Learners from Laerskool Môrester in Eastvale were treated to a Christmas party on November 16.

San van Wyk and other members of Jesus Outreach Feeding Scheme, with help from Meals on Wheels from Heidelberg, hosted the party for 101 learners.

The annual Christmas party is hosted for underprivileged children and is full of food, treats, drinks, toys, singing and dancing.

San has been hosting these parties for the children for 18 years.

“I started with 13 children and every year the numbers increase.”

Tamsin and Gouw Grobler of Meals on Wheels brought 105 hamburgers to treat the children.

San narrated the birth of Jesus and the children laughed and sang along to the songs that were playing.
