The Ekurhuleni Community Action will host a community festive clean-up campaign on December 16.
The campaign will start at 07:00 and end at 09:00.
The organisers believe that this is a great opportunity for the community to work together to beautify the environment and prepare for festive celebrations.
Why should you participate in this campaign?
• You will contribute to the health and safety of your community by removing trash, debris and potential hazards from public spaces.
• You will enhance the aesthetic appeal of your neighbourhood and make it more attractive for visitors and potential residents.
• You will foster a sense of community and belonging by meeting new people, making friends and having fun with your fellow residents.
• You will enjoy some physical activity and fresh air while having fun and making new connections.
How can you participate in this campaign? There are two ways:
• Register online at www.mycupoftea.co.za or send a WhatsApp to 073 717 1006 and indicate your name and location.
• You will be linked to a group or you may choose to clean up with your own group. Should you choose to clean up with your own group, let the organisers know from where you will be cleaning.
• Bring your own gloves, bags, tools and water bottles on the day of the campaign.
• Follow the safety guidelines and respect the property and privacy of others.
• Dispose of the collected waste properly in designated bins or spots. Do not leave any trash behind or dump it elsewhere.
