A Toyota Conquest that was reported stolen in Springs was recovered in Tsakani, on Tuesday morning.
EMPD Tsakane Precinct Officers were patrolling Thakado Street when they drove by a suspicious-looking blue Toyota Conquest.
The car was parked in the middle of the road.
According to EMPD spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Kelebogile Thepa the abandoned hatchback, left without both registration plates was tested.
The revelations were that it was recently reported stolen by the liable owner in Springs.
All the necessary stakeholders, including the fingerprint section from the SAPS, were summoned to the scene.
The recovered vehicle was towed to the police yard, for safekeeping.
