The Garrison Pub at Lady Luck is hosting a children’s fishing competition. The event will take place from 09:00 to 16:00. The age groups that qualify are six to 15 years of age. There will be live entertainment, stalls, a jumping castle and safe parking will be available. There is an entrance fee which must be accompanied with a tin of pet food. Kwasa College Pre and Primary School in Daggafontein will host a musical celebration with the Welsh tradition concert featuring the Welsh Male Voice Choir of South Africa. The event will start at 14:30. Tickets cost R150 and for seniors and students R100, this includes refreshments. • Meat World Springs hosts a food market every Saturday from 06:30 to 14:00. With this, Meat World Springs is calling on all vendors to apply to participate. • The Springs Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday. Buy fresh, affordable produce, arts and crafts, delicious food and milk. The venue is Den Akker at President’s Park and it runs from 07:00 to 12:00.
