The Bhairavi Sungum of Springs will host a lavish celebration to mark the 31st anniversary of the Tamil New Year. The community is invited to the celebration at the Bakerton Community Centre on 1st Avenue, Bakerton, at 14:30.

Kwasa College Pre and Primary School in Daggafontein will host a musical celebration in the Welsh tradition concert featuring the Welsh Male Voice Choir of South Africa. The event will start at 14:30. Tickets cost R150 and for seniors and students R100, this includes refreshments. • The Springs Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday. Buy fresh, affordable produce, arts and crafts, delicious food and milk. The venue is Den Akker at President’s Park and it runs from 07:00 to 12:00.
