Sun shines for Gingers

Golf enthusiasts gathered at the Pollak Park Golf Club to participate in the Gingers Golf Day monthly competition on Saturday.

With the weather allowing, the competition showcased both skill and sportsmanship on the greens.

A total of 43 golfers took part, all enjoying the pleasant weather at the club. At the end of the day, Andrew Theodorou was in the lead with 40 points.

Trailing closely behind him was Charl Stoop with 39 points and Chad Burnhope with 37 points oco.

This month’s results were as follows:

• Milk tart doubles: Chad Burnhope and Steve Jeffreys with 45points
• King of the shorts: Dawn Whiteman with 10 oco
• Longest drive: Jayden Gould
• Closest to the pin in two Benjamin Scott
• Closest to the pin: Dawn Whiteman

Harvey Scott from the Gingers congratulated all golfers who participated in the competition. The next Gingers competition will be held on May 25.
