Street shower volunteers were excited to serve the community of Springs.
Homeless people from Springs spent their Saturday morning being pampered and treated with care at the street shower initiative.
The street shower is an event for those living on the streets of Springs.
They received new clothes, food, haircuts, manicures and pedicures, a shower, CV compilation, and ministry.
The driving force behind the street shower, which has seen a growth in beneficiaries throughout the years, is derived from the Bible verse of Luke 14:16–24.
The concept, according to founder Winifred du Preez, serves as a banquet prepared for them to demonstrate God’s love.
“The event helped to restore their dignity with love in their lives,” said Du Preez.
