The City of Ekurhuleni Athletic Club recently held its annual Aches and Pains event to recognise participants of the Comrades Marathon, which took place in June.
At the event, runners were awarded certificates and celebrated at a prize-giving ceremony.
Marketing manager Noko Phil Matlou said the event is held a few weeks after the Comrades to honour the athletic club members.
