Springs Town Bowling Club celebrates season’s top bowlers
Springs Town Bowling Club holds end-of-season prize-giving on October 19.
The Springs Town Bowling Club (STBC) held its end-of-season prize-giving ceremony on October 19 to honour competition winners for the year.
The club congratulated all bowlers who performed well and bowlers who participated in social events and competitions this season.
The prize winners were:
- Men’s novice singles: André Meyer.
- Ladies novice single: Estelle Garside.
- Men’s open singles: Rudolph Pretorius.
- Ladies open singles: Brenda Cock.
- Men’s veteran singles: André Meyer.
- Ladies veteran singles: Tokkie Hattingh.
- Novice singles: Veronica Glinister.
- Drawn pair runners-up: Izak Hattingh and Amelia Vink.
- Selected pairs: Paula Birbeck and Estelle Garside.
- Drawn pairs: Jackie Roodt and Cecilia Fourie.
- Mixed drawn pairs: Dan Du Preez and Estelle Garside.
- Men’s drawn pairs: Anthony Tancrel and Raymond Pratt.
- Mixed selected pairs: Chris Liebenberg and Estelle Garside.
- Ladies selected pairs: Tokkie Hattingh and Sharon Pratt.
- Selected pairs: Anthony Tancrel and André Meyer.
Tokkie Hattingh from the club said as STBC wrapped its bowling competitions for the year, the club would still host its social games every week.
