African Shotokan Karate-Do karatekas make promotion
Students of the African Shotokan Karate-Do Federation enjoyed their dojo grading on Saturday.
The African Shotokan Karate-Do Federation in Selcourt held dojo grading for its students on Saturday.
Some 29 juniors showcased their skill and determination over the past few months, leading to the promotion of new belts.
Some students upgraded to yellow belts, others to orange and even one to purple. Mbali Motha was the only student to trade in her brown belt and upgrade to a black one.
Each student received a certificate with their new belt. The club has 40 students after four years in existence and just keeps growing.
