Maintenance to affect water supply to some areas

Remember to prepare for upcoming water supply interruption.

The CoE has received notification from Rand Water of scheduled maintenance on December 6. The planned maintenance will result in water supply interruptions in the Brakpan, Springs, Kwa-Thema, Tsakani, Nigel and Duduza areas for the duration of the maintenance.

The city will provide water tankers at strategic points to ensure residents have water for domestic purposes. There will be no water from 08:00 to 16:00.

The affected suburbs are Helderwyk Estates, Dalpark, Leachville, Dalview, Van Eck Park, Rand Collieries, Brakpan, Brakpan North, Larendale, Denneoord, Minnebron, Sunair Park, Sonneveld, Kenleaf, Brenthurst, Anzac, Sallies Village, Vulcania, Marievlei, Withok, Geluksdal, Labore, Springs, Selcourt, New Era, Dal Fouche, Pollack Park, Daggafontein, Selection Park, Geduld, New State Areas, Strubenvale, Casseldale, Bakerton, Welgedacht, Persida, Alliance, Kingsway, Modder-East, Eastvale, Dersley Park, Presidents Dam, Krugersrus, Wright Park, Petersfield, Rowhill, East Geduld, Lodeyko, Edelweiss, Stuisbult, Nuffield, Grootvlei Estate, Grootvally, Largo, Slovo Park, Reedville, Oranjehof, Payneville, Kwa-Thema, Tsakani, Duduza, Langaville, Masechaba View, Bluegum View, Nigel, Ferryvale, Noycedale, Visagiepark, Prosperita, Vorsterkroon, Pretoriustad, and Alra Park.

Residents and businesses are informed that the system will gradually accumulate pressure after completion of the planned maintenance. The city will communicate updates through its digital platforms.
