Soccer clubs invited to join the Payneville CPF Soccer Tournament

The community is invited to support this worthy cause.

The Payneville CPF and other stakeholders invite local soccer teams and the community to its 5-A-Side Football Knockout Tournament at the Emazenkeni Sports Pub from 10:00 on April 21.

The sports officer of the event’s organising team, Aphiwe Ndaba, says the tournament is a community initiative to raise awareness about crime and drug abuse.

This event aims to promote community unity and youth development and celebrate creativity through sports and the arts.
The event will bring together various organisations that will be instrumental in its success.

“This outreach is already bringing together over 200 individuals, including players, CPF members, dance groups, hip-hop artists, DJs and photographers.

“We are proud to be joined by affiliates like the Springs SAPS’ Crime Prevention Unit, social welfare organisations, the health department, LoveLife, community radio personalities, Jetour Motors and the Pastor’s Forum.

For more information or to register a team, call Ndaba on 071 054 7515.
