Annual charity golf day raises funds for Daggafontein children’s home

Local children's orphanage, Chosen, were the recipients of the funds raised at the gold day.

The Race Mission Training Centre and Fundraisers organised by Diakonos Events hosted their annual golf day on April 25.

The event took place at Pollak Park Golf Course on behalf of a non-profit organisation, Chosen, a children’s home based in Daggafontein.

The home provides a place of safety for neglected abandoned and orphaned children. One of the organisers and directors of the mission centre, Yolande Jansen van Vuuren, says that everyone enjoyed the day.

She extended her gratitude to their sponsors who made the day possible.

“Thank you for investing in a child’s life.”
