Man shot multiple times near Selcourt Towers

A man was shot multiple times at the intersection of Butler and Wit Road opposite Selcourt Towers on Friday.

Springs police responded and found a silver Toyota Hilux with bullet holes on the driver’s side.

“The driver was taken to hospital for medical treatment and an attempted murder case has been opened,” said Springs SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Themba Tshabalala.

“The motive is not known yet and no one has been arrested for now. The investigation is ongoing.”
