• Bhairavi Sungum will host a winter ball to raise funds for a cultural centre they would like to build. The event will be held at Bakerton Community Centre at 18:00. • Springs Girls’ High will host a Community Crochet Circle event in the staff room at 09:00 to make blankets for their Nelson Mandela Blanket Drive. It is that time of the year again for the Vita Nova annual fun walk/run. The lap is 2.5km, and the race has a carnival theme. The event will take place at Vita Nova, 2 Fisheagle Road, Daggafontein. For more information on entry fees, contact the centre on 082 372 8139 or email immelman@eject.co.za
