Springs Premier FC beat Benoni Northerns 15–0 at Veritas College

The coach praised the entire team and looks ahead to the next game in July.

The U12 L5 Springs Premier FC team put on a spectacular show at Veritas College on Saturday morning, overpowering Benoni Northerns 15–0 in a match that showcased their depth, confidence and teamwork.

Ntando Sokuwe added to the tally with a sharp finish, and Kellyson Madeira closed the first half with a strong goal, putting Springs firmly in control.

In the second half, Springs continued to dominate. Rulash scored his fourth goal of the day, displaying composure and creativity in front of goal.

Mangaliso Zulu also found the net before Madeira returned with renewed energy, scoring three more goals to complete his own four-goal haul. After the match, Madeira expressed his joy.

“I’m happy I was able to add my name to the sheet, but I’m even happier with how the team played. Everyone gave their all,” he said.

Head coach Chosen Eddie was overjoyed.

“I’m happy beyond words and can’t even explain this feeling. We made changes after a tough loss two weeks ago and last week’s draw against Olympia. Today’s response was exactly what we needed.”

When asked about the man of the match, Eddie said, “There isn’t one; they all deserve it.”

Springs Premier will now prepare for their final match of the first round in July, aiming to finish on a high note.
