The Bobbies Junior Rugby Club is welcoming young players to join their growing team while calling on the community and local businesses to help shape the next generation of rugby talent.
The Bobbies Junior Rugby Club is calling on aspiring young rugby players to join their ranks as they work to build the next generation of stars.
Team manager Isabella Greyvenstein told the Springs Advertiser that the club is more than just a sports team. It is a home.
“We aim to create a family environment for our players,” she said.
“Our coaches strive to leave a lasting impact on the children, both on and off the field, by instilling a genuine love for the game.”
Greyvenstein added that the coaching team is dedicated to helping each player strengthen their weaknesses and embrace their strengths.

“We focus on fitness, skills development and game strategy. Training is available throughout the year,” she said.
Practice sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 17:00 at the Pam Brink Sport Grounds. These sessions offer consistent opportunities for young players to stay active and improve.
Greyvenstein encouraged the community and local businesses to get involved and support the club’s growing needs.
“Bobbies has recently launched their first league team and urgently needs a scrum machine and other training equipment. We are also looking for dedicated individuals to join our coaching team as the club expands,” she said.
