Springs power outage scheduled due to urgent maintenance

Residents and businesses within the Springs areas are informed to prepare for the scheduled power outage on August 7, as the City of Ekurhuleni undertakes urgent maintenance to its electrical systems.

The power outage will take place between 09:00 and 16:00 and is expected to affect Payneville, Grootvlei, and Bakerton and their extensions.

The city stated that although every effort will be made to restore power within the scheduled time, the restoration time is dependent on the complexity of the work to be done. Residents are advised to treat all electrical connections as live during the outage and are asked to exercise caution.
