Community unites for Ekurhuleni Pride March in Springs

The streets of Springs were filled with colour and solidarity as the Ekurhuleni LGBTI held its 18th annual Pride March, with community members advocating for LGBTQI rights.

The Ekurhuleni LGBTI held its 18th annual pride march from Springs Station to Zig Zag Cafe on September 14.

The theme for this year was all white with a touch of rainbow, and the event was well-attended by community members proudly holding placards advocating for LGBTQI rights.

“The event was a success. We had more than five Ekurhuleni regions who joined us and our stakeholders,” said Ntsupe Mohapi, director of the Ekurhuleni Pride prganising committee.
