ERBW networking event empowers women in business

Women gathered at the Sunkist Garden Pavillion on September 3 to boost local businesses and network with each other.

The East Rand Business Women (ERBW) gathered at the Sunkist Garden Pavilion recently for their latest networking event to empower local women in business.

Guest speaker Debbie Wilmot delivered an inspiring talk, using a measuring tape to illustrate that the average lifespan of a human being is 75 years.

She reminded the audience that while life is busy, too many people put off living fully, waiting for the perfect season, job, or perfect health.

“What are you waiting for?” Wilmot challenged.

“None of us is promised tomorrow. Start living your life to the fullest. Take those risks.”

She urged the women to seek purpose, emphasising that the years behind them do not define their future.

Instead, she encouraged them to use the time they have wisely and embrace the opportunity for new beginnings.

ERBW hosts regular meetings that provide business support, networking opportunities, and personal growth for local women.
