Springs karate star to represent club at KWF World Championships in Japan

Out of four qualified members, Francois van Eck will represent KWF Springs at the upcoming World Karate Championships, with the dojo wishing him the best of luck.

Four members of KWF Springs qualified for the KWF World Championships to be held in Japan from October 1 to 5. They are Francois van Eck, Luhandre Williams, Zuhandre Prinsloo, Johan Swanepoel and Anushka Herbst. Francois, however, is the only member who will be able to tour Japan to participate. He will also attend seminars conducted by world-class speakers. "I am proud of Francois; we as a dojo wish him good luck and to enjoy the experience," said sensei Fanie.
