Laerskool Selection Park cycling team will host a XCC/XCO introduction race to introduce the sport in the Springs community. Primary school learners are encouraged to join. Mighty Men Johannesburg is hosting its conference, a gathering of Christian men to praise and worship the Lord under this year’s theme, ‘Men of God must protect and serve their families and community’, which ends on October 26 at President’s Park.

NG Kerk Springs will host a Christmas market at 41 Botha Street, Geduld Ext. The event will have a variety of stalls which the guests can explore. For more information on booking stalls, call 010 492 6693 between 08:00 and 13:00.

• November 29
Vita Nova will host its much-anticipated Christmas market at 12:00 at Vita Nova Centre, 2 Fisheagle Road, Daggafontein. The event will include live performances and a variety of festival stalls. For more information on entry fees, call 082 372 8139 or [email protected]

• The Springs Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday. Buy fresh, affordable produce, arts and crafts, delicious food and milk. The venue is Den Akker at President’s Park. It runs from 08:00 to 13:00.
