Springs Striders celebrate team spirit and new personal best

Springs Striders is welcoming everyone to their weekly 4km or 8km walks and runs designed to get their community active and social.

Springs Striders and the community laced up their running shoes to join the club’s popular weekly time trials on October 14.

The time trial is a fun and inclusive event featuring a 4km or 8km walk or run. The action kicks off every Tuesday at 17:45 from the Riverfield Shopping Centre in Petersfield.

From young athletes to seasoned runners and casual walkers, the time trials bring the community together each week. It’s not just about exercise, it’s about building friendships, staying active, and enjoying a healthy dose of fresh air.

This week, the club celebrated a new personal best by Lucky Ramatswi, who finished the run in 20:25.

“Well done to all the runners who participated in our time trial this week,” says club member Nico de Nysschen.
