New Miss Springs 2025 ready to inspire her community
A new queen has made the Springs community proud. Nineteen-year-old Ashley Joubert was crowned Miss Springs 2025 at Die Agterplaas on October 25.
A new queen has made her community proud by being crowned Miss Springs 2025. Ashley Joubert (19) has a passion for health and safety. She was crowned at Die Agterplaas on October 25.
In a heartfelt message shared on her social media, the new queen thanked her family and community for their support during the Miss Springs journey.
“I am compelled to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has placed their trust in me and my journey. I cherish their unwavering support and guidance from the beginning.
“To all the other participants, I urge you to remain committed to your aspirations, as they will eventually become a reality. I am honoured to be your Miss Springs 2025,” she said.
She made a special mention to Miss Springs 2024, Bejandri Lourens, who was recently crowned Continental Queen of Africa at Miss Asia Pacific International.
“Thank you for making my dreams come true. You have believed in me, pushed me, and guided me through every challenge, even when I doubted myself.
“Your dedication, patience, and constant motivation have helped me become the person I am today. You saw potential in me long before I did, and for that, I’ll always be grateful,” Ashley said.
Bejandri reflected on her journey as the title holder, she said, “This chapter has truly been one of the most meaningful of my life. Being Miss Springs taught me so much about leadership, purpose, and staying grounded in who I am.
“From community events to the international stage, I’ve carried the love and support of Springs with me every step of the way, and for that, I’ll always be grateful.”
The organisers, Chanté van Schalkwyk and Zeldeen Kriel, expressed their gratitude to all who contributed to the event’s success.
“Both of us are very proud of every single contestant and their Miss Springs journey, and we are so thankful for every mentor and sponsor who made it possible.
“We look forward to the Petite Miss Springs, Little Miss Springs, Junior Miss Springs and Teen Miss Springs on November 22,” Chanté said.
