GALLERY: Springs community rallies behind SPCA at Padel 4 Paws event

Players, supporters, and animal lovers joined forces for the SPCA’s Padel 4 Paws fundraiser, helping raise funds and awareness for the animals under their care.

Fresh from the Boo Bash fun walk and run, the SPCA hosted their second fundraiser, Padel 4 Paws, on November 9 at the Bush Inn.

SPCA chairperson and organiser Nicky Meiring told the Springs Advertiser that the event was an incredible success.

She said the fundraiser was a hit with people full of energy, compassion and community spirit. Fifteen teams participated, with the Dalmadoodles of Padel taking the top prize. Meiring thanked everyone who participated, donated and cheered them on.

“Thank you to Bush Inn for allowing us to host the event. Your support helps us make a real difference for animals in need and in our care,” she said.

She added that the SPCA hopes to host a few more ‘pawsitive’ events in the near future.
