Security interrupts cable theft in Nuffield South, one arrested

A swift response from security officers at 01:00 led to the arrest of a suspect carrying a spade, hacksaw and copper ring.

Vampire Security officers recently caught four men in the act while trying to steal a cable in the Nuffield South area around 01:00.

According to the security company’s owner, the guards managed to arrest one man as three others fled.

“He was found in possession of a spade, hacksaw, copper ring and other tools,” he said.

A case was opened at the Springs police station, and the suspect was charged with attempted cable theft.
