Chilly, damp weather no barrier for EEDA golf day

Many laughs after EEDA golf day as prizes and auction items bring players joy.

The Ekurhuleni East Darts Association (EEDA) held their annual golf day on November 28 to raise funds for the association and the development of darts as a sport.

Golf was played on the greens of the Springs Country Club, with players going for the best score. The prizes given for the day’s players are:

• First place winners were Riaan Esterhuizen (standing in for Riaan Bester) and Werner Schwahn.
• Second place winners were Lucas Coetzer and Wikes Schoeman.
• Third place winners were Riaan Botha junior and Riaan Botha senior.
• Longest drive was won by Lucas Coetzer.
• Longest day was won by Dylan Minnie.
• Biggest boozer of the day was Braam Bruwer.
• Lost and found auction winner buying back his own club was Wikes Schoeman.
