African Tigers FC celebrates players at annual prize-giving event

This year, African Tigers FC took a different approach to their prize-giving, treating players to a fun day at Wild Waters. The event also celebrated the club’s first-ever soccer tournament held in September.

African Tigers FC hosted their annual prize-giving at Wild Waters in Boksburg, where players were recognised for their participation in the league throughout the season.

“This year we decided to do something different by taking them to Wild Waters, which they thoroughly enjoyed,” said the club’s chairperson, Imtiaz Choughlay.

Reflecting on the year, Choughlay said their biggest achievement was hosting their inaugural soccer tournament in September.

“The event was a success, we received great feedback, and we cannot wait to host it again next year,” he added.

He thanked the coaches and players who consistently committed their time throughout the year.

“We are looking forward to the 2026 season to enrol more players in our club and grow from strength to strength.

“We really appreciate the time you have given to the club, and to the parents, a big thank you for your support,” he concluded.
