Local club reflects on impact in Springs community

From growing moustaches to packing 50 000 meals, the Moustache Club spent 2025 making a real difference in the Springs community.

In the heart of Springs, a group of young men is making a real difference in people’s lives through donations and community support.

The Moustache Club, originally formed to raise awareness for men’s health and grow moustaches, has grown into a movement rooted in brotherhood, generosity, and shared purpose.

Beyond the moustaches, the club is a powerful space for connection, support, and shared purpose.

It comprises members from ForSure Insurance Brokers, African Independent Brokers, and Road Protect, all part of the Badger Holdings group of companies.

Badger Holdings’ marketing manager, Zanda Twala, reflected on 2025 and how they gave back to the Springs community.

“The club doubled in size, enabling greater community support and expanding its ability to make a real difference.

“As a result, meaningful contributions were made to the SPCA Springs, Vita Nova Springs, the Leratong Place of Love, and Redeemed Life, all of which are vital in supporting vulnerable people and animals in the area,” Zanda said.

She added that besides these donations, the club participated in a large-scale initiative by the Soft Landings Foundation.

“These gents packed 50 000 meals to support those in need, a hands-on effort that reflected the club’s belief in showing up and making a tangible difference,” she said.

Twala said the club is looking forward to another impactful year in 2026.

“The message is simple: Stronger together, committed to making a difference. Happy New Year from the Moustache Club,” she said.
