Miss Springs 2025 launches Easter Egg Drive to support children’s home
Residents are invited to donate Easter treats to bring smiles to children in need.
Miss Springs 2025, Ashley Joubert, invites the community to help spread joy through her Easter Egg Drive initiative.
Ashley is collecting chocolate Easter eggs, marshmallow eggs, as well as sweets and treats, which will be donated to Chosen Children’s Home.
Residents can participate by dropping these off at 16 Star Road, Selcourt, from 08:00 to 18:00. The last day for donations is April 5.
“Easter is meant to be a time of joy, love, and togetherness and every child deserves to feel that, no matter their circumstances.
This initiative is important to me because I believe in creating small moments that can make a big difference.

Something as simple as an Easter egg can bring excitement, smiles, and a sense of being cared for,” Ashley said.
Community members who want to make a donation are encouraged to contact Ashley via social media to arrange a pickup or drop-off.
She encouraged the Springs community to lend a helping hand to make Easter special for children.
“Easter is a time of hope, love and new beginnings. While many of us celebrate with our families, there are children in homes who may not experience that same joy. But as a community, we can change that.
“I want to encourage everyone to come together and be part of something meaningful. Let’s remind these children that they are not forgotten, that they are loved and that their happiness matters,” she concluded.
