Springs community invited to celebrate Tamil New Year with vibrant concert

The community is invited to celebrate the Tamil New Year with music and community spirit in Bakerton.

Bhairavi Sungum of Springs invites the community to celebrate the Tamil New Year with their 33rd Tamil New Year concert at Bakerton Community Centre, 1st Avenue, Bakerton on April 11 at 14:30.

“The new year, known as Paraa Bhava Varusham 5127 – the year of ego dissolution marks a time of renewal, reflection and new beginnings,” the organisation’s chairperson, Poovershree Pillay.

The event will feature vibrant music, dance performances and refreshments.

“The celebration will showcase the talented Luxmi Entertainers, renowned music makers of Gauteng, along with captivating dance performances by Natya Anjali, Pillay said.
