Ayoba moves to position two after beating Early Birds 5-0

Ace Auto Ayoba Academy wins match against the Early Birds Football Club

Ace Auto Ayoba Academy beat Early Birds 5-0 in the Springs Local Football Association U13 league, moving them to second place on the group A log.

The game took place at the Kwa-Thema Stadium on October 29. The win comes after Ayoba had lost 2-1 to the Birds in the first round.

Ayoba coach Banele Ndwalane said, ”It was a very tough game. I have seen a lot of improvement in my team. When we lost against the Birds, we were short of players. We have regrouped to come back stronger.”

Ndwalane said most of the players in the team are 11 and 12 years old and will still be with the team next season.

“My players were born winners and their confidence in the field says a lot,” he concluded.

The Birds coach Tefo Mathe said, “Lack of proper facilities is our downfall. We enjoyed a good game and congratulations to Ayoba.”
