The concert brought together members of the community and surrounding areas in a vibrant celebration of culture, unity and devotion.

It also showcased the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the participating linguistic and cultural groups. Through music, song, dance and drama, the various organisations paid tribute to Mother Sarasvathee, creating an atmosphere of reverence and togetherness.

“The spirit of unity, mutual respect and collaboration among the organisations was clearly evident throughout the programme.

“From young performers to elders, everyone played a role in making the occasion memorable, meaningful and entertaining,” said the organisation’s chairperson, Poovershree Pillay.

Pillay said the most memorable highlight of the evening was the collective presentation of bhajans, with representatives from all the participating organisations coming together on stage to sing as one unified group.

“This powerful collaboration beautifully captured the essence of the celebrations – different voices coming together in harmony while honouring a shared cultural and spiritual heritage,” she said.
