NOTICE OF PLANNNED ATMOSPHERIC EMISSION LICENSE APPLICATION FOR AIR LIQUIDE PTY LTD, ALRODE Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 38(3) in the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act, 2004 (Act No. 39 of 2004) (NEM:AQA) to all interested and affected parties (I & APs) that AIR LIQUIDE (Pty) Ltd will be applying for an atmospheric emissions license (AEL) renewal at its current Industrial gases production operations in Alrode, Gauteng.
The site will be licensed in terms of section 41(1)a of the NEM:AQA in respect to Category 6: Organic Chemicals Industry: The production, or use in production of organic chemicals not specified elsewhere including acetylene.
The licensing authority is the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality.
Written representations or objections to the application must be submitted within 30 days of the date of this notification to the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality and the consultant to the address details indicated below. To make representations or objections submit your full name and contact information, stating the nature of your representation or objection. Requests for a copy of the application can be sent to the consultant.
