Boxing a knock out
Storm Coelho recently participated in a Ludus mixed martial arts event, he beat his opponent in the first round by Technical Knock Out (TKO) winning the featherweight title.
The Ludus Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and boxing event was recently held at Springs Boxing Club.
Boxers Michael Kotze, Elmer Joubert, Dylan Walker, Michael Stoltz, Storm Coelho and Kobus de Waal fought at this spectacular event.
The evening came to a close with three main spectacular fights.
The first of these three fights saw CJ Lindeque take on Ben Vengetas. It was a tough fight with the crowd standing throughout the entire fight in the hopes of a knock-out.
But neither of the two men could gain an advantage and the bout ended in a draw.
This match was followed by Michael Stoltz and James Kruger. Stoltz threw in the towel during the second round, making Kruger the winner of that bout.
The final fight of the night was for the featherweight boxing title where Kobus de Waal fought against Storm Coelho.
De Waal fought his heart out but couldn’t keep up with Coelho’s agility, pace and boxing technique.
Coelho won the fight in the first round with a Technical Knock Out (TKO).
With the featherweight title in his hands, Coelho said, “I would like to thank all my friends and family who supported me through my fight and gave me the courage to take home the gold.”
