Bodybuilders to nationals
Bafana Manake and Kenny Lushaba recently participated in the provincial selection for national body building championship that will be held in Port Elizabeth in September.
On Saturday the International Federation of Bodybuilders (IFBB) Championships took place at the Springs Civic Centre.
Justin Classen and Raymond Nortjie from Deon Scheepers’ gym, Fit Health in Dersley, took part in the U/75kg and over 75kg category respectively and both came second.
Kenny Lushaba and Bafana Manake from Green Apple Gym in KwaThema also took part.
Bafana received first prize in the fitness category, while Kenny received second place in the disabled category.
Bafana and Kenny will be representing Gauteng in the National Bodybuilding Championships from September 4 to 7 in Port Elizabeth.
