OB Premier facing the giants

Springs Old Boys Premier side played cricket against Kempton Park on February 9, and it wasn't a great day for them.

Captain of the Old Boys squad chose and bat first after winning the toss and only managed to score 106 after 33 overs as Kempton bowled them all out.

Brandon Whitehead and the captain Warren Woolley were top scorers for Old Boys.

After lunch Kempton Park had to only chase 107 runs to win, which they did after 20 overs without losing a wicket.

The local team’s Jonathan Woolley bowled an impressive six overs for only 20.

“Kempton Park are on top of the log of the Premier League table and well deserved as they are an awesome side,” says Warren.

He adds Old Boys look to win all their remaining games left for the season, to end third in the league.
