This was a fundraising event to procure reliable and roadworthy vehicles to transport the children to the school, which is situated in Tsakane.

The Matshediso School for Intellectually Impaired Learners held a golf day at Pollak Park Golf Club on Friday.

This was a fundraising event to procure reliable and roadworthy vehicles to transport the children to the school, which is situated in Tsakane.

The institution has 360 learners with multiple disabilities including autism, epilepsy, physical disabilities and severe behavioural disorders, who are transported from places like KwaThema, Tsakane, Langaville, Duduza and Ratanda in Heidelberg.

The format of the golf day was IPS.

The winners are:

1. Godfrey Mononyana (42 points), 2. Paul Nkuna (40 points), 3. Mr. B. Harmans (40 on count out).

Longest drive: Godfrey Mononyana.

Nearest to the pin: Elliot Mngomezulu (17th hole).

Nearest pin: Paul Nkuna(4th hole)

Nearest Pin: Cornelius Rantha (6th hole).
