This tournament is played at the Selection Park tennis club in honour of the late Gary Dickson.

The second round of the Selection Park Tennis Club’s yearly Gary Dickson Veteran Memorial Tennis Tournament was played on Saturday.

He was a member of the club who died a while back during playing a tennis match on the tennis court.

On Saturday Herman Schmulian and Sias Reyneke won their match against Mick Hurst and Ryno de Lange.

Ernst de Wet and Isabel Thurston beat Michelle Kent and Robert McNab.

Some matches had to be rescheduled due to illness and injury of the players and these will be played next weekend.
