Bowlers compete in championships

Club members took to the greens at 1pm and played several singles and pairs games.

Izak Hattingh and Okkie Nel competed in the Men’s Open Singles, and Izak won the game with four points.

The marker for the game was Chris van Heerden.

Neels Jonker and Talita Coetzee were the winners of the Mixed Drawn Pairs, and defeated Mybert Visser and Joan Calitz by two points.

In the Men’s Selected Pairs, Johan Bouwer and Hennie Uys defeated Dominic Ragusa and Mike Smith.

Pat Viljoen took on Chris Liebenberg in the Men’s Singles, and won.

The marker for this game was Dirk Coetzee.

Herkie van der Berg defeated Stephen Coetzee in the Men’s Senior Singles.

Several other club members played social bowls to keep them fit and ready for their next challenge.
