Pollak Park golf results
Pollak Park Golf Club had a busy week of golf from Wednesday to Sunday.
Results for the various golf competitions are as follows:
Wednesday’s competition saw Henry Landsberg in first position with 38 points, while Mike Mynhardt obtained second position with 37 points on count out.
Jose Lira obtained first position in Thursday’s competition with 37 points on count out.
Jan Els secured second position with 37 points on count out.
Hannes Dempsey won the Friday Meat Competition with 39 points, followed by Joe Shenk with 39 points.
The best back nine was won by Kevin Kellon, who obtained 19 points on count out.
Roy Palmer took the best front nine with 21 points on count out. The club competition was a Betterball Stableford.
The morning competition resulted in Chris Coetzer and Johan Beytel securing first position with 44 points.
Greg Palmer and Neil van Rooyen secured the second position with 42 points.
First position of the afternoon game was secured by Garth McKay and Jana de Jager, who obtained 43 points.
Second position was obtained by Ian Mcluckie and Trevor Cooke with 42 points.
Wednesday’s pro-shop competition saw Johan Roost take first position with 40 points on count out
Sunday’s competition saw Grant Cockeran securing first position with a total of 38 points.
His runner-up, Anika van der Berg, obtained a total of 34 points.
Ross MacAllistair secured the second position with 30 points.
“Thanks to all the players and congratulations to all the winners,” said Rachel Howard of the club’s pro shop.
Nomads golf will be played on Saturday morning.
