Tennis men’s teams battle in Winter League

Eben Maré, club captain of the men’s A team, says they played against Modderfontein’s A team.

The Selection Park’s A team, which includes Daniel Myeni, Pieter Stoltz, Eben, Niki Matic, Logan Stoltz and Jono Reed, lost against their opponents, 5-4.

They will be playing against the Park Rand A team on Sunday at the Selection Park Tennis Club.

Ryno de Lange and his B team, Duncan Gall, Sias Reyneke, Krish Moodley, Justin Chapman and Emelio Pinto played against the Northmead B team on Sunday, but lost 6-3.

The B team will be playing away against Modderfontein’s B team on Sunday at their opponents’ home ground.
