SOB u-9 beat Highlands 4-0

The Springs Old Boys (SOB) U9 boys’ soccer team were undefeated on Sunday, winning 4-0 against Highland Football Club.

“Our Victory game against Highlands was well won and our boys took the game with a convincing 4-0 victory,” says Nino Lopes, SOB coach.

Sunday’s win shows the boys are determined and train extremely hard to achieve the best results.

“We are in the toughest league, namely the premiere league so it’s a huge achievement. We are currently top of the league and in the semi-finals of the cup,” says Lopes.

The SOB is part of the Eastern Football Associations League, whose players compete against all league clubs in the Eastern region as well as the Northern and Southern league clubs.

Record wins of 17- 0, 9 – 0 and 8 – 0 against the opposition from other leagues, shows how committed the team is and how they are flying the Springs flag high.
