Springs takes part in Comrades – results
Here are the Springs Comrades runners’ results.
A number of Springs residents participated in the 2018 Comrades Marathon on Sunday.
According to Rhoda Steyn from the Striders Athletic Club, all of their novices finished before the cut-off time.
Two members of the club received Bill Rowan medals (finishing between seven hours and 30 minutes and nine hours).
Steyn says the club is extremely proud of every Striders member who took on the Comrades this year.

The Springs Platinum Refinery Athletic Club (Sprac) at Impala Platinum Refineries in Springs, sent a team of 15 runners to participate in the 2018 Comrades Marathon.
“Two of them were novices: Josias Vilankulu and Themba Masango,” says Dirk du Toit, administrator of the club.
“There was one woman as well, Mandisa Duze, process controller in the refinery and the team captain was Moses Tshabalala, a junior engineer.”
