Springs Old Boys u-17 play at home against Rovers FC
“We just need to keep our heads down and take each game as it comes,” says Stones
The Springs Old Boys u-17 triumphed in a hard fought victory over Rovers FC on Sunday.
The home team beat the visitors 3-2 in a thrilling match after coming from behind at 2-0 down.
At the beginning, the visitors pressed hard, and scored early to put SOB on the back foot.
The windy conditions didn’t have an impact on the game as both teams looked to collect all three points.

Coach Bruce Stones can be proud of the character shown by his side.
“At this point of the season we are just looking to maintain our concentration.
“I’m very happy with our team chemistry and we are in a strong position to win the league.
“We just need to keep our heads down and take each game as it comes,” says Stones.
The team will be playing in a cup game against Benfica who are a division above them.
Stones says, “we will definitely try be the “David” in this story against the ‘giants’.”
